The NUL-209 NeuLog Photo Gate Logger Sensor is designed for studying various types of motion in scientific experiments, particularly in the field of Physics. With six selectable modes of operation, this sensor allows the measurement of time, velocity, or acceleration using one or two photo gates and associated timing cards.

The software screen features a button for mode selection, and the sensor can display measured values in either large numbers or a table format. The modes of operation include Velocity with a single gate, Acceleration with a single gate, Acceleration with two gates, Velocity and Momentum with two gates, Delta between two gates, and Velocities with a timing card.

The sensor's output visually represents the voltage status (digital 1 or 0) as timing cards pass through it. Equipped with an infrared transmitter and receptor housed in the photo gate unit, as well as a threaded rod for easy connection to retort stands or other labware, this pre-calibrated sensor is an essential component for accurate velocity and acceleration measurements in science experiments.
