Westlab’s High-Speed Centrifuge offers an ultra-quiet performance and maintenance-free longevity with its brushless DC motor. The unit is microprocessor-controlled for efficient performance even under high loads. For added convenience, the one-touch toggle feature allows the user to toggle between RCF and RPM modes with just a touch of a button.

The centrifuge includes an emergency lid release when a power failure occurs for the operator's safety. Furthermore, a lid lock safety feature ensures that the lid of the unit cannot be opened while the rotor is still running. The lid also includes a metal enclosure. In addition, the unit has an imbalance detection feature with an automatic internal diagnosis and error display.

The centrifuge removes chemically precipitated protein from an analytical specimen, separates protein-bound from free ligands in immunochemical and another assay; and separates lipid components. In addition, the unit is used to separate the subcellular organelle, DNA and RNA; and extracts solutes in biological fluids from aqueous to organic solvents.

It is ideal for use in DNA and RNA laboratories, biochemistry laboratories, teaching laboratories, biology laboratories and research laboratories.
