Borosilicate Filtration Assembly Kit for Vacuum Filtration, 4 Components
The Borosilicate Filtration Assembly Kit for Vacuum Filtration includes four components: a 1000ml flask, a 300ml funnel, a 47mm vacuum base with a sintered disc, and a clamp.
This filtration assembly is designed to maximise flow and reduce foaming, making it ideal for the vacuum filtration of tissue culture media, biological fluids, HPCL, and other aqueous solutions.
The sintered disc, acting as a filter, has G2 porosity with a 40-90 micron range, and the 47mm filter provides an effective filtration area of 9.6cm².Â
When assembled, the set measures 438mm tall, 203mm wide, and 203mm long. The durable and sturdy aluminium clamp is an essential part of the filtration assembly, with an available clamping distance of 29mm when fully compressed.
The borosilicate glass has a strain point of -515°C, an annealing point of 565°C, and a softening point of 820°C.
