Product Information

The Sulfuric Acid is a clear, colourless, viscous liquid when pure, but yellowish to brownish when impure. This chemical is odourless but has a choking odour when heated.

This chemical has explosive properties - contact with most metals causes formation of flammable and explosive hydrogen gas. Exothermic reaction with water. Containers may explode when heated or if contaminated with water. Slightly explosive in the presence of oxidising materials. See the SDS for more details.

Alternate names for the chemical include Oil of Vitriol.
