The Spectrometer for teaching analytical chemistry, introduces students to instrumentation similar to that used in real-world applications. This unit demonstrates the principles of flame and atomic absorption spectrometry, doubling as a precise colorimeter.
Results can be processed in two ways: manually, with readings taken on the included special meter and calculations and graphs plotted by hand, or automatically, with data recorded on a computer disk and graphically manipulated.
