The Nitric Acid is a clear, colourless to slightly yellowish liquid. This chemical is hygroscopic and has a disagreeable, pungent, acrid and suffocating odour.
It isn't combustible, but concentrated material is a strong oxidiser and its heat of reaction with reducing agents or combustibles may cause ignition.
Alternate names for the chemical include Azotic Acid, Engraver's Acid, Hydrogen Nitrate, and Aqua Fortis.
