The NUL-230 NeuLog UVB Logger Sensor focuses on the UVB wavelength range, which spans from 280 to 320 nm and constitutes 2% of the total UV radiation. UVB radiation plays a significant role in the generation of vitamins in the human body, immune suppression, and is associated with conditions such as skin cancer and cataracts.

The intensity of UVB light is measured in mW/m2 (milliwatts per square meter). This sensor finds applications in Environmental Science, Biology, Physiology, Chemistry, Weather Science, and more. Employing a special photodiode reactive to electromagnetic radiation in the UV spectrum, the sensor incorporates an internal selective filter that specifically allows UVB rays (280 to 320 nm) to pass through.

Pre-calibrated at the factory, the NeuLog UVB Logger Sensor supports experiment durations ranging from 1 second to 31 days, providing a valuable tool for diverse scientific investigations.
