The NUL-205 NeuLog Oxygen Logger Sensor is for measuring free oxygen levels in the air or dissolved oxygen in water. In the free oxygen in air mode, it can track changes during combustion or reactions that produce oxygen, such as hydrogen peroxide decomposition. Both dissolved and free oxygen modes are valuable for studying photosynthesis.
Designed for both school laboratories and field use, this sensor employs polarographic (Clark) technology with replaceable membranes, constructed for durability with Delrin®. Featuring an integral thermistor, it ensures dependable temperature-compensated measurements, housed in stainless steel for quick and accurate readings.
Beyond oxygen measurements, it can also be used for temperature measurements in solids, liquids, or gases, making it applicable in Chemistry, Physiology, Exercise Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, and more.Â
The sensor comes pre-calibrated at the factory, assuming a standard atmospheric oxygen concentration of 20.9% or fully saturated water, with an experiment duration ranging from 1 second to 31 days. It includes a 30ml oxygen sensor filling solution (1 M KCl) and a replacement membrane cap.
