The NUL-213 NeuLog Motion Logger Sensor employs an ultrasonic transducer to transmit a wave and measure the time it takes for the echo to return. This mechanism allows the sensor to accurately measure the distance to an object positioned in front of it.

With the aid of module software, the sensor can also calculate the velocity and acceleration of the object, offering three distinct modes of operation: Distance, Velocity, and Acceleration. Widely applicable in the fields of Physics, Mechanics, Physiology, Biology, and more, the motion sensor utilises an ultrasonic transducer for both wave transmission and echo measurement.

Factory pre-calibrated, the sensor supports experiment durations ranging from 1 second to 31 days, making it a versatile tool for various scientific investigations.
