The NUL-243 NeuLog GPS Position Logger Sensor precisely determines its latitude, longitude, and horizontal velocity anywhere on Earth by receiving signals from the Global Positioning System (GPS). It functions autonomously or can be used in conjunction with other NeuLog sensors for outdoor experiments in environmental science, physics, and more, making it applicable in fields such as Biology and Environmental Science.

The Global Positioning System is a satellite-based navigation system offering location and time information under various weather conditions, as long as there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. Pre-calibrated at the factory, the NeuLog GPS Position Logger Sensor supports experiment durations lasting up to 11 hours, providing a reliable tool for diverse scientific investigations.
