Millikan's Apparatus & Power Supply
The Millikan's Apparatus with an inbuilt power supply offers a unique capability of atomising a latex solution into tiny spheres, subsequently inducing a static charge on them through a rubber hose.
These charged spheres are then introduced into a cell formed by charged plates. By reversing the voltage between these plates, the particles are either attracted to one plate or the other. The motion of the spheres is observed through a small telescope equipped with a graticule.
