This clear sealing film offers excellent optical clarity and moderate resistance to solvents. Designed to be peelable and non-pierceable, it provides a secure and reliable seal for laboratory applications.

Visual & Physical Characteristics

Visually, the film is clear and thick, featuring a less reflective surface on the inner side of the roll. Physically, it is made from flexible plastic that resists creasing. The upper surface is very smooth, while the sealing side has a subtly rough texture to aid adhesion.

Applications & Compatibility

This sealing film is ideal for use in qPCR and short-term compound storage. It is compatible with a wide range of plate materials, including polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), cycloolefin copolymer (COC), and polycarbonate (PC).

Temperature Range & Sealing Conditions

The film operates effectively within a temperature range of -80°C to +80°C. For optimal sealing, apply at a temperature of 175°C with a dwell time of 2 seconds.

Recommended Storage Conditions

Store in a cool location out of direct sunlight. It is recommended that the seals be used before the expiry date indicated on the packaging. When stored in their original packaging at 21°C and 50% relative humidity, the seals maintain a shelf life of up to three years.
