This clear film offers good optical clarity and moderate solvent resistance. It is designed to be peelable and non-pierceable, ensuring a reliable and secure seal.

Visual & Physical Characteristics

• Visual: The film appears as a clear and thick plastic seal with a less reflective surface on the inside of the roll.
• Physical: Made from flexible plastic, it is difficult to crease. The upper surface feels very smooth, while the sealing side has a slightly rough texture.

Applications & Compatibility

The film is suitable for applications such as qPCR and short-term compound storage. It is compatible with a range of plate types, including polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), cycloolefin copolymer (COC), and polycarbonate (PC).

Temperature Range & Sealing

The film can withstand a broad temperature range from -80°C to +80°C. It requires a sealing temperature of 175°C and a dwell time of 2 seconds to ensure optimal sealing performance.

Recommended Storage Conditions

Store in a cool place. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. It is recommended to use the seals within the expiry date shown on the label. Three years when stored at 21°C, 50% relative humidity, out of direct sunlight, in original packaging.
