Helmholtz Coils, 400 Turns, 1A, Pack of 2
The Helmholtz Coils, available in a pack of two, are versatile air wound coils with a large diameter, designed for magnetic field measurements and studies. Each coil features 400 turns and comes equipped with 4mm socket head spin-free terminals, ensuring secure and efficient connections to a power source.
To facilitate precise coil alignment, the kit includes a metric rule, 500mm in length, for setting distances between the coils. When connected to a constant current power source, these coils can be conveniently aligned on a common axis for magnetic field measurements. For accurate readings, they are often used in conjunction with a magnetic measuring probe, such as the Hall Effect probe PA.
