The Electromagnet Induction Apparatus features a metal conductor suspended between bearings, allowing it to rotate like a single blade of a paddle-wheel. A slim, cylindrical permanent magnet is inserted horizontally through the bore of one bearing, providing support. The length of the magnet runs parallel to the conductor, and its tip is positioned approximately halfway along the conductor's length.
This setup is designed to demonstrate and study electromagnetic induction phenomena, showcasing the interaction between the rotating conductor and the magnetic field created by the permanent magnet. As the conductor rotates, it cuts through the magnetic field, inducing an electric current, and illustrating the principles of electromagnetic induction.
