The units are best to be charged for 8 hours then they will last for many hours as you are only drawing a small amount of power running LED lights only draw up 120Mamp. Most charge over night
You could run them for approx. 10-12 hrs before recharging. Maybe even longer depending light brightness. So, if you only run the for 1-2 hours a day you should get many days.

Technically there is no difference, it is just the colour.
