Does DNA bind to or flow through the membrane?
Question by: Beth on 24 Oct 2025, 4:54 am
Hi Elizabeth,
DNA generally flows through PES (Polyethersulfone) membranes and does not bind significantly to them. PES is known for its low DNA and protein binding properties, making it suitable for applications where retention of nucleic acids is undesirable.
