The EN Metal Structure Biosafety Cabinet Class II A2 is an advanced unit engineered to safeguard laboratory staff, the environment, and critical work processes involving biological agents.

The cabinet is built with a durable epoxy-coated metal structure and features SS304 stainless steel internals, including a retractable one-piece worktop with a spill tray. The front window, made of 6mm triplex safety glass, is equipped with a manual
counterweight system for ease of use.

The microprocessor control system is accessible through a 10.1” colour touchscreen display. This intuitive interface provides real-time updates on the cabinet’s status, including alerts for unsafe conditions, filter maintenance, and other critical reminders. The cabinet’s airflow pattern, classified as Class II, Type A2, delivers 70% circulation and 30% exhaust, which, combined with two advanced HEPA H14 filters (99.9995% efficient at capturing particles as small as 0.3μm), ensures a high level of contamination protection.

For further functionality, the cabinet includes a high-efficiency, quiet ECM fan with VAV auto filter clogging compensation, as well as multiple alarms for inflow, downflow, sash position, critical chamber conditions, filter status, and service reminders. The cabinet is also equipped with a real-time filter gauge status display, a germicidal waterproof UV light system (254nm) with a safety interlock mechanism, and LED lighting with a brightness of 1000 lux.

Additional features include two universal sockets, time, date, temperature, and humidity displays, and multi-language control with metric or imperial units. The unit is supported by an adjustable stand and armrest, meets ISO 5/CLASS 100 cleanliness
levels according to ISO 14644-1 and US Federal Standard 209E, and is CE certified, fully complying with EN 12469 standards.
