The L-Ascorbic Acid is a white to a very pale yellow crystalline solid, or colourless crystal. This chemical is slightly soluble in alcohol, glycerol and propylene glycol. It is insoluble in ether, chloroform, benzene, petroleum ether, oils and fats.
Alternate names for the chemical include Vitamin C, and Ascorbic Acid.
