Product Information
This product features two distinct culture media dispensed into a single Petri dish, each within separate compartments. It is designed specifically for use with urine specimens.
The CHROMID® CPS® Elite Agar serves as an isolation, enumeration, and identification medium for urine samples. It allows for the microbial enumeration of the specimen through standardised inoculation methods and enables the direct identification of Escherichia coli. Additionally, it supports the presumptive identification of bacterial species or genera such as Enterococcus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Citrobacter (KESC), as well as Proteus, Providencia, and Morganella (Proteeae).
The second medium, Horse Blood Agar, is an isolation medium that promotes the growth of fastidious microorganisms, providing a comprehensive solution for urine specimen analysis. Each pack contains 10 plates.
