In quality control, the expected results for this medium include growth of Salmonella typhimurium ATCC 14028 after incubation at 35°C for 18 to 24 hours. The medium appears as a light amber, clear to slightly hazy fluid with a pH of 7.2 ± 0.2 at 25°C.
This product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored at 2°C to 8°C in its original packaging.
