Slit Formers for HODSON Light Box, Pack of 3
Slit Formers are essential to create narrow, controlled openings or slits in objects placed on the glass stage of a lightbox. These slits allow light to pass through specific sections of the object, enhancing the visualisation of particular features or structures.
Features & Applications
Designed as part of the Light Box Kit, the Slit Formers come in a set of three and are not available for individual purchase. Each set includes the following slit patterns:
- 1 Slit / 3 Slits
- 4 Slits / Wide Slot
- 2 Slits / Blank End
The slits generate narrow light rays for precise applications. The wide slot is specifically used with a prism to produce a spectrum (rainbow) of colours. Meanwhile, the blank end allows users to block the light as needed completely.
