Our LABDISC External Magnetic Field Sensor is a compact, dual-range probe that measures magnetic fields in millitesla (mT).

 Designed for the LabDisc Data Loggers, it supports studies ranging from Earth’s magnetic field to strong fields near current-carrying conductors or coils.

Dual-Range Sensitivity & Accuracy

This external sensor offers two selectable measurement ranges: ±0.2 mT for weak magnetic fields such as the Earth's field, and ±10 mT for stronger sources like solenoids or electromagnets.

The probe provides ±5% full-scale accuracy, ensuring dependable data in classroom and experimental environments.

Fast Setup & Auto Detection

Connect the sensor to the LabDisc’s micro-USB external probe port with the USB logo facing upward. It auto-detects the magnetic sensor; if multiple probes are connected, press the probe selection button to activate the correct one.

Real-Time Display & Software Integration

Measurements are shown in millitesla directly on the Labdisc screen and in GlobiLab software. Once connected via USB or Bluetooth, the software enables graphing, adjustable sampling rates, and data export for reporting and analysis.
