Our LABDISC Dymo Sensor is a compact, wireless device combining force and 3-axis acceleration measurement in a single unit. Designed for physics experiments, it enables high-speed data collection for motion analysis, impact forces, and Newtonian mechanics.
Dual Function Sensor: Force & Acceleration
With a ±50 N force range and ±8 g acceleration range, this sensor delivers precise readings for experiments involving collisions, dynamics, and free fall. Real-time sampling at 500 Hz supports detailed motion resolution.
Wireless Connectivity & Real-Time Logging
The sensor transmits data wirelessly to a PC/Mac at 25 times per second and to an iPad at 10 times per second. Bluetooth and USB support ensure compatibility across devices. While the sensor has no onboard memory, continuous transmission and GlobiLab integration allow uninterrupted data analysis.
Power, Interface & Operation
Powered by a 3.7 V Li-Po internal battery or 6 V AC/DC adapter (same as used for LabDisc), the unit features intuitive push buttons for power and Bluetooth pairing. Status LEDs indicate Bluetooth communication and operational mode.
GlobiLab Integration & Classroom Use
Fully supported in GlobiLab software, users can set sampling rates, view live graphs, and export data for reporting. The sensor is ideal for physics classrooms needing mobility, precision, and cross-platform data handling.
