Inclined Plane, Adjustable, Scale & Pulley

The Inclined Plane is a simple classroom instrument for experiments in friction, vectors and forces. The Linear Air Track is more suited for accurate mechanics, but the Inclined Plane is useful for less accurate work. Melamine-coated timber with a pulley mounted at the top end. The bottom end hinges on the aluminium base, a storage container to hold kit parts. It is fully adjustable up to 45°C.

The angle scale is on the adjustment bar so that when the unit is folded and locked flat for storage, there is no scale protruding to be broken or bent. The inclined plane is not normally supplied with accessories.
