BYD Care® N95 Particulate Respirator, Blue, Disposable, Non-Sterile, 20/Pack

This BYD Care® N95 Particulate Respirator is a high-performance disposable mask designed to provide effective respiratory protection for adult users.

Featuring a four-point elastic head strap system, it ensures a very close facial fit without compromising comfort or breathability. This non-sterile, foldable respirator is suitable for use in healthcare and high-risk environments, including hospitals, emergency rooms, intensive care units, trauma areas, and during infectious disease testing.

Filtration & Performance

This respirator provides a filter efficiency of 95% or greater against solid and liquid aerosols free of oil. It meets the standards of NIOSH GB19083-2010, AS/NZS1716:2012, EN 149:2001, and N95 performance classifications. It also offers fluid resistance up to 160mmHg, blocking liquid aerosols, making it suitable for use as both a respirator and a surgical mask.

Comfort & Safety

Manufactured using non-latex materials, the respirator is preferred by users with sensitive skin. It is designed to provide a soft, skin-friendly wearing experience. The moulded structure enables a secure fit and high breathability.

It is essential to conduct a proper fit test and adjust the mask to fit the face to ensure its effectiveness. Facial hair or facial features may impact the mask’s ability to form a tight seal.

Certifications & Compliance

This respirator is TGA-listed (ARTG 337767) and CE-certified. It conforms to global standards, including NIOSH, and provides maximum barrier protection, classified under FFP2 NR. It has a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) and particle filtration efficiency (PFE) of ≥95%.

Storage & Expiry

Store the respirators in a clean, dry, and cool environment away from fire and contaminants. The recommended storage temperature is between -20°C and 38°C, with relative humidity below 80%. Originally carrying a 2-year expiry, NIOSH has extended the shelf life of these respirators to 5 years from the production date shown on the packaging.

Instructions for Use

Before use, ensure the packaging is intact, and inspect the elastic bands and metallic nose strip for damage. Conduct a 3-step fit check to verify an adequate seal. If a tight seal cannot be achieved, do not use the product. Discontinue use immediately if experiencing breathing difficulties or discomfort.

This respirator is supplied in packs of 20. Each carton contains 960 respirators, configured as 48 boxes of 20 masks.
