Manufactured from solid anodised aluminium, the block's solid construction provides rapid heat transfer. When used in conjunction with a Dry Block Heater, applications include the preservation of samples and reaction, enzyme digestions, enzyme activity studies, DNA amplification, incubation and activation of cultures, melting/boiling points and nucleid acid hybridisations.
