Advanced Hotplate Stirrer & 2L Water Bath Bundle

Westlab’s Advanced Hot Plate Stirrer is equipped with a DC motor capable of delivering constant speed under varying load conditions. The stirrer’s speed range from 200 to 2200 RPM in steps of 10 RPM allowing for gentle to vigorous mixing.

The adjustable timer setting allows the user to set the timer from 1 to 999 minutes with an infinite mode. With a temperature setting of ambient to 320°C, the unit has a safe temperature of up to 345°C. In addition, the stirrer’s rapid heat-up allows a 1L beaker of water to be heated to 100°C in under 25 minutes.

Westlab’s 2L Water Bath has a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel tank and a slightly magnetised base for added safety. Supplied with a stainless-steel test tube rack attachment.

DISCLAIMER!

• When using H₂O-based solutions, the uncovered bath's maximum temperature is 85°C to 90°C.
• Use the Pt1000 temperature probe at a depth of 100mm minimum to measure the average temperature.
• Cover the waterbath with the lid or foil to achieve higher and faster results.
• Start with warm to hot water to speed up the process.
