Under current regulatory requirements, an End User Declaration form must be completed for each purchase of specified products.

A completed EUD, together with a copy of the relevant licence, must be submitted to sales@westlab.com.au. These documents will be forwarded to the Victorian State Police for approval before order dispatch. This requirement applies to all customers, including schools.

Scharlau's Immersion Oil is a high-purity, light yellow oil formulated to enhance image clarity and resolution when using oil immersion microscope objectives.

The formulation is almost non-miscible in water and insoluble in ethanol, ensuring stable performance during use. Its high boiling point and low vapour pressure support safe handling under normal laboratory conditions.

Storage, Handling & Safety

The product is classified as Non-Dangerous Goods and is not regulated under GHS or poison schedules. It should be stored in a cool, dry place between 10°C and 30°C in a tightly sealed glass bottle. Standard laboratory hygiene practices are sufficient when handling.

Disposal & Regulatory Information

Small quantities may be disposed of with household waste, subject to local regulations. Uncleaned packaging should be disposed of in accordance with official waste management guidelines.
