Construction & Materials

These vials are manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3 expansion, offering superior chemical resistance and thermal stability.

With a low coefficient of expansion, these vials minimise the risk of cracking under temperature fluctuations. The optically clear glass ensures consistent optical detection and minimal background interference.

Cap Design

Each vial is supplied with an attached white screw cap made from polypropylene (PP), featuring a pulp-foil liner and a 22-400 thread finish. While the vials are autoclavable, the caps aren’t.

Dimensions & Packaging

With an assembled outer diameter of 28mm and height of 61mm, these vials are compatible with most standard scintillation counters. They are packaged as 100 vials per inner box, with 500 vials per outer carton.
