Our Hospital Grade Decontaminant is a robust anti-microbial solution designed for heavy-duty restoration applications, particularly in environments contaminated with moulds, bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and spores.

These situations often arise due to flooding, exposure to body fluids, or the presence of organic waste. The decontaminant's effectiveness stems from a synergistic combination of two powerful biocides and specific potentiator chemistry, which efficiently destroys odour-causing bacteria, micro-organisms, viruses, and mould.

Advanced Penetration Technology

The decontaminant features a dynamic wetting agent that enhances the biocidal blend, allowing it to penetrate deeply and quickly into affected areas. This wetting agent enables the biocide to reach further into porous substrates, fabrics, and fibres than traditional disinfectants. As a result, the decontaminant is highly effective in eliminating a wide range of microorganisms, even in hard-to-reach areas.

In trauma scenarios, Category 3 water situations, and bio-hazard decontamination, Westlab Hospital Grade Decontaminant excels by rapidly penetrating the contact surface while maintaining high efficacy despite the presence of organic soil. It is an efficient bactericide, cost-effective to use, and highly active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, moulds, spores, as well as enveloped and non-enveloped viruses when applied at recommended dilution rates.

Instructions for Use

Before use, ensure all safety instructions are followed and review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Always pre-test on an inconspicuous area to check for substrate sensitivity.

Mixing Instructions

• Mould Remediation: Mix 65ml per litre of water (1:16).
• High Soil Load Conditions (Category 3 Water): Mix 32ml per litre of water (1:32).  
• Standard Applications (Category 1 & 2 Water): Mix 16ml per litre of water (1:64) for general disinfection and odour control.

Application Procedure

1. Before cleaning, spray the affected area with the prepared decontaminant solution to lower microbial concentration and ensure user safety.
2. Remove all wet and dry debris, and pre-clean the area.
3. Apply Westlab Hospital Grade Decontaminant using spray, wet fog, mop, or cloth.
4. For porous surfaces, agitate the solution briefly.
5. Allow a minimum of 10 minutes of dwell time.
6. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
