The decontaminant's effectiveness stems from a synergistic combination of two powerful biocides and specific potentiator chemistry, which efficiently destroys odour-causing bacteria, micro-organisms, viruses, and mould.
The decontaminant features a dynamic wetting agent that enhances the biocidal blend, allowing it to penetrate deeply and quickly into affected areas. This wetting agent enables the biocide to reach further into porous substrates, fabrics, and fibres than traditional disinfectants. As a result, the decontaminant is highly effective in eliminating a wide range of microorganisms, even in hard-to-reach areas.
In trauma scenarios, Category 3 water situations, and bio-hazard decontamination, Westlab Hospital Grade Decontaminant excels by rapidly penetrating the contact surface while maintaining high efficacy despite the presence of organic soil. It is an efficient bactericide, cost-effective to use, and highly active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, moulds, spores, as well as enveloped and non-enveloped viruses when applied at recommended dilution rates.
