Lid Design & Spill Absorption

This collector container and lid features a lid with an absorbent foam pad on its interior surface. In the event of a mercury spill, the lid can be removed and the foam pad pressed firmly onto the mercury, allowing the pad to absorb the liquid metal.

Once saturated, the lid is replaced on the jar, and a perforated plate within the container releases the collected mercury safely into the base of the jar. Replacement foam pads are available for ongoing use.

Quick & Convenient Mercury Handling

This mercury spill container allows for rapid and convenient collection of spilled mercury beads. The foam pad absorbs the mercury effectively, and the internal perforated plate ensures safe transfer of mercury to the bottom of the jar.

The collector can hold up to 125ml of mercury, providing a practical solution for laboratory clean-up tasks.
